[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]
Name: Yukito
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Canon: Fire Candy
Timeline: The "end" of the series, right after fainting from seeing Ryoki getting stabbed.
Character History: Links: Wiki, Read, TL;DR Written History
Character Personality:
And on a personality note, Yukito is possibly one of the purest characters in this series, despite the multiple sexual situations she's been placed in.
She is a very true to her impulses and her emotions - she cries quite a lot, but for that to be her only show of weakness in a series full of people gone crazy with the trauma of being unnatural and exiled by a majority of the human race. Her tears may very well be a show of just how strong a young woman she is, for she cries for everything - for her dead sister, for the rejection of her love, for fear, for happiness. She's a cryer.
But, tears or no tears, Yukito is also very territorial. Have you ever seen a cat with kittens?
Well, she may be a little young to have kittens, and her half-ox love is rather disinterested in having sex with her, Yukito has yet to give up on him. She is deeply head over heels - it's obvious. And when she is challenged on that (by Haru, for example, when he kissed Ryo) she is quick to anger and hard to sooth, proud and with a pretty rebellious persona. But at the same time, she is still forgiving - still sweet, and still a teenaged girl, with...enhanced, animalistic hormones.
Her affection for Ryoki was curbed by the fact that he was in love with her twin sister, Akito, with whom Yukito shared a special bond with. Sometimes, whilst under extreme stress, Yukito has something akin to a vision of her sister, usually stemming from looking in a mirror and seeing her own reflection, and then talking to herself whilst vividly imagining her sister being the one to respond. It is more of a psychological thing than a superpower thing; a coping mechanism when life just gets too hard, boo hoo.
They were pretty attached, she and Akito. And while Yukito doesn't resent her dead sister - no, she accepted it while she was alive - she was in love with Ryoki as well, even if her sister was his girl. It's a hard thing, loving a boy who is in love with someone who looks exactly like you, but just still isn't you. There's a bit of insecurity that is imposed by such a cruel pesudo-rejection, even if there is no real rejection until after Akito's death, and even then it is more of a mutual thing because Yukito doesn't want to be blindly pawed in a haze of hysterical depression while being called her dead sister's name, and Ryoki doesn't want anything other than Akito. Sucks man. Really.
What also sucks are very strong morals, although that's not... That possibly sucks more for people around her than actually Yukito herself. One of her biggest problems is possibly meaningless sex; she holds true to the idea that sex is something special, even if in the time, it's less special and less sacred and there's no sanctity in gender roles or marriage beds. She tends to preach that one should "save yourself for someone you really care for". This also plays into Yukito being a huge ol' virgin, like several other characters in the series. But while those like Leo just can't seem to wait to get rid of their V-Card, Ryoki's a bit scarred for life from sex after having his first time end in exploding bodies, and Haru's a whore - Yukito's cherishing hers, and when it is challenged, well... She gets a bit violent.
When Leo was attempting to enlist her help in getting rid of his virginity, she kicked him in the balls. When Haru challenged her affections for Ryoki, she got loud and violent and disapproving (perhaps like a cat with its hackles raised, eh?). And when Tetsu spoke of using her (raping her) to get back at Ryoki, she responds with as much vehemence as she can manage, as actual violence was pretty much impossible at the time. Given, it was a different situation, she also stopped Ryoki from having sex with her as well, but with him she used tender words and tears and that one possibly hurt her as well.
Example of that hurt? Yukito is a bit impulsive. Her sister more so, perhaps, which is why Akito ran with the Jammy Angels (before they got that stupid name) and not Yukito, but they are still similar, and after she extricates herself from that encounter with Ryoki, she impulsively runs to the first outlet she can think of, and that's Fire Candy, even if it's caused so many problems for people she knows and was completely responsible for the death of her sister. In blind, enraged passion, Yukito can be quite stupid; when her emotions take over, she doesn't really do a good job of minding her mouth or her actions and everything she does just ends up being just as unwise as it looked, and usually with repercussions.
Another notable character trait about Yukito is her... we'll call it judgmental nature toward things that she does not like. Now, that can be displayed in her morals as well and the fact she does not like people judging the sanctity of sex, or inappropriately touching Ryoki, or messing with anyone she cares for really can show that protective streak. But when that someone is clearly embodied in, say, Haru who is a prostitute, a male, and badtouching Ryoki, her anger at him and his actions embody themselves in hostility and cruel japes and harsh words.
Given, Yukito feels regret for hurting his feelings, but minimal regret at that, and doesn't really apologize to Haru for calling him a "fag" and "disgusting" until prodded to at Ryoki's request, and even then she's reluctant. But they manage to become something close to friends (enough so for him to put significant effort into saving her from Tetsu) after that, so while protective, prudish and judgmental, she does have a friendly bone in her body, and the ability to forgive or overlook slights against her ideals.
So, in short, she can be volatile, angry, reckless, caring, in love and everything else that pretty much any normal human is capable of, but mostly, just a girl. A ...cat...girl.

Character Weaknesses you would like to expand on further:
Fandom Bicycle
There is no nice way to say that Yukito is fanservice in this series; a bit of a magnant for sexual harassment that she can't seem to help. Is it pheromones? Well, that could occasionally explain it, but she also has the unlucky title of "The Only Real Girl In This Canon" which makes her the inevitable potential-yet-not-even-possible love interest, and if not that...non-love interest, she is at least the outlet for everyones sexual tension. And if not sexual tension, than their necessity to victimize one another sexually. Now, this probably won't matter much in the city here, but it haunts her a little bit and may play an intense dynamic in her own cast.
Weakling
Yukito is by no means strong. If anything, she is agile and slick, but not exactly physically strong enough to really...defend herself. She is a bit of a helpless little damsel, but with a bit more bite to the personality than Disney princesses.
Fire Candy
Unlike many of her fellows in her canons, Yukito does not have a drug addiction - while she came close to it, she has never even tried the notorious Fire Candy drug, and probably never will as it directly caused her sister's death. At one point she did wish to try it, but that was only to escape and rebel against her feelings, admittedly probably what drove many people to try it in the first place and get hooked, but she was inevitably stopped.
Half
While animal qualities have their upside, sharp hearing and keen eyesight and balance only get you so far. One of the most problematic probably being the somewhat constant racism and hostility held against the Halfs. For one of your last hopes for humanity and reproduction, you'd think "normal people" would be a little nicer about their differences.
Another downside can be argued to be instinctual and animalistic qualities one would find in an actual animal. This spans from aggression to territorialism to borderline hyper-sexuality. Yukito is calmer than most of the people in her canon, however, and is not exactly prone to sudden bursts of insanity, but her FINISH THIS.
[ SOUL CAMPAIGN SECTION ]
What abilities will your character retain in Soul Campaign? Bullet-form is fine.
The BREW strips a character’s powers and other superhuman skills upon entering the game. What will be left from the abilities you wrote about in the Character Section? A guideline and allowed/disallowed examples can be found here. (http://soul-mods.livejournal.com/34046.html#cutid1)
What weaknesses will your character lose or gain in Soul Campaign? Bullet-form is fine.
The BREW can cause a character to lose or gain weaknesses in the game, like powers, illnesses, or situational dis/advantages.
The wish Death the Kid made to the BREW in 2009 was to “rescue Death City and stop the waves of Madness from overtaking the world.” By whatever means necessary. Pretend you are the BREW. Why would you choose to bring this character to Death City?
Keep in mind that BREW also brought Tohru Adachi, Jonathan Crane, and Angelika Einstürzen to Death City. Why it operates the way it does is a mystery: illuminate the possible reasons why your character was chosen. A summary of previous game activity can be found here. (http://soul-mods.livejournal.com/33669.html)
If your character has difficulty verbally communicating or can’t verbally communicate at all (mute or non-humanoid), elaborate on how this will be treated in the game. n/a
[ MEISTER ONLY SECTION ]
Why is your character a Meister and not a Weapon?
Possibly one of the most sane characters in the Fire Candy canon, Yukito generally has more control over herself than, say, Ryoki or Haru. Yes, she is much more stable than any of her fellows, despite possibly being a bit more...psychologically bendy than people from other canons.
While tearful more often than not, Yukito definitely has a stubborn and brave edge to her personality. Faced with a giant wall and speeding toward it at unsafe speeds on a pair of roller blades she's never worn before, Yukito closed her eyes but kept moving toward it; in fact, it wasn't even really scary until Haru saved her from crashing. She's a little bit of a hot head, too, and gets a bit aggressive when she's being challenged or threatened, and down right angry when someone threatens herRyoki friends.
What is your character’s Meister Ability? Why?
Feral Soul
While Yukito is no where near as angry as some of her castmates, she does have the tendency to get angry easily, and the animalistic quality this sort of Meister Ability bestows is sort of already perfect because of the fact she is, indeed, part animal. The stronger part may not do much for her, but perhaps assist her in being less of a wishy washy, useless damsel.
Soulmyeyesareuphere
...Yukito is fanservice and the fandom bicycle, not to mention everyone in her own series has seen her breasts and nudity does not seem to bother many of the Fire Candy cast, even her.
Soul Scent, Soul Bite
...Those both relate back to her animal bit, but really, they're last choices, because it seems she would be better fitted for Feral Soul.
[ SOUL INFORMATION ]
Describe your character’s soul with six adjectives.
Caring, Affectionate, Protective, Instinctive, Chaste... Aggressive.
What does your character’s soul look like? Be creative.
Yukito's soul is the same yellowish gold color of her eyes, with slitted, cat-like eyes of a purple-ish variety and perky ears and a curly tail. Of course, when aggravated, it's not such a cute little ball of fluff, but more of an angry ball of yellow cattiness, complete with pointed teeth and red tints of rage.
